The whole trick with drainage is the fall - a steady, consistent gradient so water keeps moving and solids do not settle and block the run. It sounds simple and it is exactly what gets skimped when a job is rushed. We set out every run to the right gradient, bed and surround the pipe properly, and test it before we backfill, so you are not digging it all up again in two winters.
